Our Team
Dan Pelc, Head Trainer  
Dan developed his goalkeeper skills as a youth player with Saltfleet Go Ahead Soccer Club. In 2002, he moved on to play for the Hamilton Thunder in the Canadian Soccer League (CSL) while still in high school. During that time, Dan became a member of the Canadian Soccer Association National Training Program (Ontario) from 2002-2004. In 2003, he was a member of Canada U-17 national team, making his debut against Jamaica in a scoreless draw.

In 2004, Dan attended Southern New Hampshire University on a soccer scholarship. He was a four year starter of the program and led his team to two NCAA tournament appearances and one Northeast-10 conference final. He is currently tied for second place on SNHU’s all-time record list for career shutouts (22).

In 2007, Dan was crowned ‘King of Keepers’ a competition for goalkeepers to showcase their skills, better known as ‘goalkeeper wars.’ Dan then went on trial with polish club Gornik Zabrze and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Dan signed his first professional contract in 2008 with the Serbian White Eagles of the CSL. He led them to a second place finish in the International Division and first ever CSL Championship. In 2009, Dan was named CSL Goalkeeper of the Year and led the White Eagles to a first place finish in the International Division and second consecutive CSL final. In April 2010, Dan signed with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC (USSF-D2).

While still playing, Dan started coaching to pass on his expertise to the younger generations. He has advancing as a goalkeeper coach working for many different clubs and organizations. He has helped develop goalkeepers of all age groups. In 2008, Dan worked with the McMaster University men’s soccer team, training the goalkeepers. In 2009, he became goalkeeper coach, helping the team to their first OUA title since 1992 and CIS championship since 2000.  




Stefan Avramovic, Trainer
Stefan started his playing career with Saltfleet Go Ahead Soccer Club. During his five years with the club, he won the SRSL Elite Division along with various tournaments.

In 2005, Stefan moved to France, signing for Tourcoing FC. He helped his team move from the middle of the standings to second place, beating teams such as Valenciennes FC, Lille OSC and other top clubs along the way. That season, the team earned promotion to the DH, which is the highest level of U15 competition in France. In 2006, Stefan was quickly noticed and was called up to play for the U18 program. In 2007, Stefan earned himself a tryout with Lille OSC. Stefan was faced with injuries while with Lille OSC and was unable to earn a spot. He was invited for another tryout afterwards with AS Nancy Lorraine, but after an extended training spell with the club, Stefan returned back home to focus on his studies. 

In 2008, Stefan played for the Hamilton Serbians in the Ontario Soccer League (OSL) Provincial League. He helped his team to a second place finish in the league. Additionally, he helping the team reach the semi-finals of the Ontario Cup and finals of the Spectator Cup. In 2009, Stefan signed with the York Region Shooters (formerly Italia Shooters) of the CSL. After two seasons with the Shooters, Stefan signed with the Serbian White Eagles in 2011.

Stefan has experience working for different clubs and organizations in the Hamilton area. From 2007-2009, he worked as a coach for the Hamilton Lady Avalanche (W-USL). Stefan coached youth, ages 4-16 during the indoor seasons. He then went on to be the goalkeeping coach for Mount Hamilton Youth Soccer Club. In 2007, Stefan began working with the women’s soccer program at McMaster University. He has worked as both the goalkeeper coach and as a high performance coach over the last three years with Mac. Stefan holds soccer coaching licenses levels 1-3.




Amy Holt, Trainer 
Amy started her playing career at Mount Hamilton Soccer Club. In 1998, she moved into the Ontario Youth Soccer League (OYSL) to play for the Burlington Rage. The following year, Amy moved to Hamilton Sparta (OYSL). She quickly was noticed and was called into the Regional Soccer Team. In 2000, she was called into the Canadian Soccer Association National Training Program (Ontario). During that time, she represented Ontario in National competition winning two National All-Star championships (2000 and 2002). In 2001, Amy made the move back to Burlington to play for the Flames (OYSL), winning both the U-18 Ontario Cup and National Club championship (2002). 

In 2003, Amy was offered a soccer scholarship to the University of Maine (NCAA). She spend one year in the United States before returning back to Canada to attend McMaster University (OUA). Amy played four seasons at McMaster University for the women’s varsity team. She was team captain and also received Team MVP honours in 2005 and 2008. Additionally, she was named Ontario University Athletics First Team All-Star for three seasons and Canadian Interuniversity Sport First Team All-Star (2008). In 2008, Amy signed with the Hamilton Lady Avalanche of the USL-W League. She was named team captain in 2009. 

In 2005, Amy started coaching for the Sir John A. MacDonald High School Girls Soccer Team as an assistant coach. In 2009, she assisted Mount Hamilton Soccer Club as a goalkeeper coach during the clubs winter and summer programs. Also, that year Amy took on the role of goalkeeper coach at McMaster University for the women’s team.




Aneta Kus, Event Coordinator and Administrator
Aneta graduated from National-Louis University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. After graduating from NLU, Aneta worked in the administrative field for numerous companies. She worked for Bell Canada at the head office and later was employed by Taylor Leibow LLP.

Additionally, she holds a M.Ed. from D’Youville College.
